Over nine weeks, participating artists created 18 short films exploring mending from different perspectives. Using Termite TV’s signature “collage show” format, described as “video jazz” and “cubist television,” the exhibition brings many voices together around one shared idea.
Beyond film, Mending features photography and mixed-media works created through workshops exploring sewing, photo embroidery, botanical watercolor, oil pastel, painting, and more.
Together, the works explore mending as more than physical repair. Through personal stories of vulnerability, grief, healing, and renewal, the exhibition invites visitors to consider the many ways we put ourselves, and our communities, back together.
