Termite TV happily introduces 2 artists who are collaborating for a summer residency in our studio at Cherry Street Pier. Together they will host open studio hours, public workshop, and exhibition experiences now through August 15.

Visit the studio on July 3 during First Friday at Cherry Street Pier to meet, greet, and explore! Specific weekly hours will be shared via email and social media throughout their residency. Swipe for bios 👉🏼

Ellie Koo | 구예진 (b. Incheon, 2002) is a filmmaker, cultural organizer, educator, and artist based in Lenapehoking (Philadelphia, PA). Their work in film and installation challenges the legibility of the Korean-American identity and explores Diasporic Ecologies, Personal Memory, and Language. They currently attend Temple University for an MFA in Film and Media Arts and are in the works on a DIY radical microcinema called Dream Dialect Cinema Club. Koo uses all pronouns and is enjoying honey tangerine tea this summer season. 예진

Cody Foley (codyyyyyyy) is a musician, visual explorer, and arts-based educator from Boston, Massachusetts. They have served as an organizer with artist communities to create and share spaces with a DIY ethos for music and sound artists. They have a passion for teaching youth arts education, believing that the creative exploration of the arts is essential to a kid’s building of community, self, and expression. In their personal practice, they investigate incidental aesthetics in both online and physical spaces through collage, photography, and street art, and explore how to build connections between public materiality and the digital sphere. Foley has also been making, performing, and organizing music events in DIY music scenes since 2016, with their previous outfit Ultra Chapelle, and their current alt-pop project Donna Revving.
