for the past year, we’ve hosted artists to develop workshops under the theme of UNDERSTORIES: what is unseen to the eye yet exists, the mycellium underground connections that keep us in community, the ebbs and flows of nature’s canopy and its embodied lessons
@cryptogam_ Maebh Aguilar led us in a presentation connecting fire, the canopy, regeneration, and UNDERSTORIES as a way to clear, make room for, embrace transformation, shedding, and adjusting to the various light consumption plants need within an ecosystem — then asking us to embody those lessons and ways of relating to one another
This presentation was our kick off event for our Understories Video Program in collaboration with

@termitetvcollective where community are making videos under the theme of Understories for a showcase in April and exhibit in August!
