What is the value of e-bay bargains, Super-8 Titanic, child labor and food stamps? Tax day festivities question how our tax dollars are spent - corporate welfare or assistance for the poor. Special midnight appearance by Bill Clinton.

from Sitka, Alaska
Native Alaskans and Alaskan immigrants tell the story of their life in five minutes in the Sitka public library. A seventeen year old girl remembers the dream where she turned into a flower; a member of the Tlinget tribe teaches his audience words in his native tongue; a librarian talks about how she survived cancer. Others recall how they arrived in Alaska, why they stayed, why they need to leave, and what they care about in life.

Violent
The nature of violence and violent action is explored as Termite TV travels West through the Badlands of South Dakota. War tax resistors demonstrate in Media, PA. Views on gun control are heard in Toronto, Canada, Madison, Wisconsin and finally, in cowboy country - Cody, Wyoming. Frustrations surface and Inner rage erupts. How many insects were killed to make this show?

The arid landscape of the Southwest forms the backdrop for the collective's encounters with unusual and unforgettable characters who share their histories and perspectives. Through these individual voices, interwoven with bizarre scenes from the Titan missile museum, the Mexican-American border, and the San Xavier Mission in Arizona, Termite TV evokes a larger picture of America.

Amidst ocean waves and fern forests, Big Island residents share their lives, triumphs and dreams. A Vietnamese woman reveals the passion and beauty hidden in the simple chronology of her life. A man who has just learned to read describes the new world that has opened up for him - making grocery lists, writing letters and finding a mistake on his Walmart receipt. A second generation Chinese woman talks about growing up in sugarcane plantations. Others talk about what drew them here; wanderlust, growing up with racism in the mainland U.S., the excitement of living off the grid and the aloha and beauty of Hawai`i.
