LIFE STORIES FROM SITKA, ALASKA

Native Alaskans and Alaskan immigrants tell the story of their life in five minutes in the Sitka public library. A seventeen year old girl remembers her dream where she turned into a flower; a member of the Tlinget tribe teaches his audience words in his native tongue; a librarian talks about how she survived cancer. Others recall how they arrived in Alaska, why they stayed, why they need to leave, and what they care about in life.
