Sounds from the Understory
This 30 minute radio special features work made by PhillyCAM members during a collaborative experimental music workshop, co-hosted by Termite TV and facilitated by WPPM and MagzFM DJ, Lorne Peart. Over 6 weeks, a small group of participants came together to turn field recordings into a sonic landscape, exploring the theme of undergrowth and understories. Through poetry, readings, and field recordings from around the city, music emerged. This special includes a conversation between Termite TV member and PhillyCAM staff, Laura Deutch and Lorne Peart about the workshop and the transformation of the material.
