Understories Exhibit at Cherry Street Pier

Over the past year at our studio residency at Cherry Street Pier, we invited local artists, herbalists, poets, dancers, media-makers, and collaborators to guide us through our theme ‘Understories,’ what lives underneath the surface unseen to the eye yet still exists; the networks of connection that we make rooted back to the surface, the poetic synapses of mycellium activating their communication channels, and the invisible tunnels that Termites create within rings of tree trunks.

This multimedia exhibit presented by Termite TV will feature a stellar slate of artists for a month at Cherry Street Pier from August 1-31.
