Continuing our Understories Workshop series, this workshop will focus on awakening, enlivening, and thanking the body for the many ways it supports and moves us. The goal is for everyone to be in a deep state of observing their bodies and how they are always in dialogue with others, and the environment around them.
**This workshop is open to individuals of any and all movement experience, notebooks or writing materials are highly encouraged.
The class will focus on gently reconnecting with our bodies through a sensory meditation, exploring how our senses engage with ourselves and the environment. Participants will be guided through a meditation that encourages self-inquiry: How is our body feeling? How does it want to move, or remain still? We will explore sensations such as scent, or how our eyes feel when we deeply direct our attention to how they move.
