Phytography Workshop with Craig Scheihing

Craig Scheihing, artist in residence at the Dunu On The Road, instructed a series of 16mm filmmaking workshops exploring direct and photographic approaches to the medium, alternative non-toxic development, and various botanical interventions.
As a part two, Craig led participants in a one-day workshop using plant materials harvested from the garden and the sun to create direct 16mm films at the Open Kitchen Sculpture Garden.

Craig Scheihing is an artist based in New York City. His work has been screened, performed, and exhibited around the world in film festivals, museums, basements, bars, beneath bridges, in cinemas, vacant lots, galleries, garages, universities, yards, and in-between.
