Places of Power: Villa Africana Colobó at the North Philly History Festival

Saturday, July 26 11am-6pm.

We’re excited to participate in the inaugural North Philly History Festival organized by Scribe Video Center.

We will be showcasing our Places of Power Villa Africana Colobó Garden: a AR/VR immersive documentary and community art project, created by project directors Iris Brown, Anula Shetty and Michael Kuetemeyer in collaboration with Termite TV Collective and Norris Square Neighborhood Project.

August Programming

Exhibit Opening: August 1st

We’re kicking off our August with a month-long exhibit Understories at Cherry Street Pier from August 1st to August 31st

From sculptures, video, photography, installations, to art encapsulating our past year of programming under the theme of Understories: what is invisible to eye, yet exists.

Join us Friday, August 1st from 6-8pm for the opening celebrating with us!

Visible Evidence Conference x Filmmakers Meet-Up: August 5th

Termite TV is co-hosting a reception with the Visible Evidence Conference at Cherry Street Pier on Tuesday, August 5th from 7-9pm.

The conference is taking place from August 3rd to August 5th in Philly at Temple University and registrations are open to the public.

Termite TV will be presenting at the conference “Eating Its Own Boundaries: Termite TV Collective’s Theories of Change and Media Activism”

Understories Video Program Screening: August 15th

Join us on Friday, August 15th 6-8pm at Cherry Street Pier fromo 6-8pm for the public screening of our Understories Video Programs produced by Termite TV and PhillyCAM featuring amazing short films interpreting the theme in their own experimental ways.

Test Patterns Residency x Termite TV

This June, we hosted Test Patterns as our first residency where the collective had access to our studio and offered public programming for video analog experimentations.
