I don’t know if this really accurately or realistically portrays the mindset of a rapist, but at least in a metaphorical sense it conveys the ridiculousness of treating people like objects (I.E. “I’m entitled to what is mine.”) Therefore the title is pretty relevant. Overall effectively creepy though. Fading both videos on top of one another may be a little distracting and hard to focus on either.

when i look back at your manifesto, i’m pretty sure you said that all you wanted to do was to entertain people. and then you made a video that is nothing but rape and murder. i feel like the only reason you made this video was to shock people into watching it. so people would be like “holy shit that girl is getting raped!” or “holy shit that guy just got stabbed!” it falls short after that initial “whoa” that you were trying to get out of people. maybe it’s because the story isn’t that interesting, or the voiceover is goofy but i feel that a bigger problem is that you gave too much away. it’s one thing to actually show rape and murder, if you need to make a video about something like that, but it’d entirely different if you don’t and suggest it somehow.

it was definitely hard to walk and watch the dissolves. however, it kept me interested the whole time and there was a lot of thought put into it. also good that it was rainy out.
