As part of Scribe Video Center’s ongoing Producers’ Forum, Dorothea Braemer, the new Executive Director of Squeaky Wheel Media Arts Center in Buffalo and longtime member of the Termite TV Collective, returns to Philadelphia to present an evening of insightful short video essays. Best known as a video producer with a wry sense of humor and a clear political sensibility, Braemer comes to the Producers’ Forum to talk about new video and film works that are emerging from Buffalo’s artist community and to present new works from Termite TV and Squeaky Wheel including Termite’s Buffalo-artist-featured show Nickel City Landscapes as well as the latest from Termite TV – The War Show. ….
