DESCRIPTION:El Jardín de La Música y El Espíritu \nScribe Video Center’s North Philadelphia History Festival: John Coletrane Edition \nAnula Shetty and Michael Kuetemeyer of Termite TV are working in collaboration with Iris Brown of the Norris Square Neighborhood Project to install a series of augmented reality artworks at Las Parcelas\nGarden.\nCo-created with local residents\, these stories explore Bomba and Plena\, two deeply spiritual Afro-Puerto Rican musical traditions born from the need to honor ancestors\, survive hardship\, and resist colonialism. This installation is part of «Places of Power: Las Parcelas\,\, a community-based\, immersive AR/VR\nproject by Termite TV.
