In honor of the 20\/20 Photo Festival our collective is hosting an exhibit of photography from our members Anula Shetty, Michael Kuetemeyer and Alan Powell.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In the <\/span>Immersive Lens: Places of Power & Community Storytelling<\/span><\/i> series, artists Anula Shetty and Michael Kuetemeyer present selected works co-created with community groups. \u201cVilla Africana Colob\u00f3 Garden\u201d in collaboration with Norris Square Neighborhood Project and \u201c<\/span>Echoes from the Conch Shell<\/span><\/i>\u201d in collaboration with Reichhold Center\/University of the Virgin Islands.<\/span><\/p>\n

Alan Powell is presenting photography and print works featuring processes of image distortion, image overlay with image manipulation and poetry developed from our Fungus Gardens and previous First Friday workshops.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

With a Special Activity for all ages: we will be painting wooden cutouts of monarch butterflies which will then be\u00a0 installed in Las Parcelas garden in West Kensington\/Norris Square.<\/span><\/p>\n
