Friday, October 29, 1999 Big breakfast spread. Pilgrimage to see Manny Farber in Encinitas(?) - tough elderly man, didn't want pictures taken, showed paintings, came to see bus. Friendly, but a little puzzled.
Saturday, October 30, 1999 Visit Borderfield State Park at southern-most end of US/Mexico border. Mike chats up Border partol guard; Dorothea tries to chat with Mexican guy through fence. Eat at nice Mexican place with Paula.
