Thursday, August 26, 1999 - Arrive 4 a.m really late/early in Madison, WI. Sleep, meet Erik Gunneson, friend of Mike's with whom we're staying. Eric just moved into this house two days ago. Makes excellent pancakes. Set up system. Meet Ted, Mike's friend, in the middle of moving furniture. Eat, tape Life Story, go to Parman's Auto Repair to check out bus. Stop by Ted's parents' new house to deliver furniture.
Friday, August 27, 1999 - Start editing Money show. Wander Madison. St. Vincent's thrift. Screen "Nature Vs. Culture" and "Native Alien" at University of Madison. Drinks with Madison filmists in Rathskellar, later at bar, even later at thumping dance club.
Saturday, August 28, 1999 - Go to farmers market with Erik to buy corn for Sunday's barbeque. Videotape Lajos Biro's life story. Bike ride around Madison. Visit downtown.
Sunday, August 29, 1999 - Help Erik clean up his backyard. Bike ride with D. to her mother's old house. Barbecue in Erik's backyard; Mike sets up video dog to ask if Termite TV should carry a Gun? during our trip. Record several life stories.
Monday, August 30, 1999 - Bring bus to CarX for exhaust pipe and muffler. Visit Sanjay Limaye at the UW Space Science Center.
Tuesday, August 31, 1999 - Beans and tortilla dinner at Paddy's, the equipment manager at UW. Erik shows us his almost completed feature film "Milk Punch."
